Once again the weather let us down with temp's 10-11 during the day and -3 to 4 at night with a cold N.W. wind nearly all week.

The water temp went down 3 and the fish slowed down on feeding and I think moved mid water looking for the thermal bands. All the anlgers worked hard and still took 37 fish, with little Steve taking the biggest fish a 48-15 stunning Mirror. We had 7 dropped and 2 snagged fish this week.

All swims took fish that were fished with no one blanking. Even though it was a hard weeks  fishing we still managed a 30lb average, so well done guy's.

The weather next week doesn't look much better at the start but Wednesday starts to improve the temps rising to 22 by the end of the week. Just a not I think its definitely worth fishing a zig rig next week boys.

I would like to thank Richard and his group this week. Sandy and I haven't had such a good week for age's, and for their lovely gift of 2 bottles of champagne which is much appreciated, and when we get 10 mins. we will open one and think of you drinking a glass looking over the lake watching monster carp crash out.
