Week 6  where i thought the numbers would get bak to normal we had 68 fish on this week but only 51 banked, 3 were lost in the snags and 14 dropped!!! I think the reason the anglers are dropping so many fish is they are fishing to short a hook link, after nearly 40 years carp fishing, I've found that i definelty drop less fish on longer hook links! (but  that's my opinion). Top swim this week was mark in R1 taking 14 fish including a stunning common of 43lbs. Next up was Rob and Ben in "61" taking 17 fish between them, with rob taking a stunning 43-10lb common, Remco and Wouter in "M2" took 9 fish.  Tight Squeeze is still taking the bigger fish with  Les taking a brace of 40lbs with a common at 45-08lbs and a cracking 48-08 Mirror. Matt also took 3 fish including a stunning 47-00lb Mirror in Tight Squeeze too. JJ in the lodge arrived a day later due to car pproblems and had to leave a day early, so I fished Saturday night and  had a cracking 46-12lb mirror and firday night had a 43-10lb mirror and a 35-00lb Common which didn't make JJ fell so great as he only had one fish for the week a 34-15lb mirror. Jamie took 2 fish in Banzais and  Paul in the boat house only had 1 fish a 38-08lb mirror. Out total for the week was 51 fish banked 14 droppped and 3 lost in the snags we had 7 upper 40's and our average for the week was 35lb. I like to thank all the guy's for looking after my fish and a great social and can't wait for you to come back next year!!
