Swim Details
1. The Point
The Point is situated at the far end of the east arm of the lake. This is a very quiet swim that does not get fished as much as it should do!
There are plenty of features to fish too, including a Sunken Punt, Bloodworm beds, Reeds and the old River bed.
There are some good stalking areas around this swim so if you fancy a bit of stalking, this could be the swim for you.
Depths range from 2ft 6" to 5ft.
3. R-Two
R2 is the third swim on the lake and is the last swim on the east arm of the lake.
The swim is cut well into the tree line of the lake and has plenty of shade from the sun.
The fishing is again to the snags and there are feed spots mid water, Bloodworm beds and near margin, fishing with large overhanging trees, and the old river bed.
Depth range from 2ft 6" to 5ft.
2. R-One
R1 is the second swim on the lake, still situated on the east arm of the lake. The swim is cut well into the tree line around the lake and has lots of shade from the sun.
This fishing is mostly to the snags but fish also come from the old river bed, and the near margin were there are plenty of large overhanging trees.
Depths range from 2ft 6” to 5ft.
4. Captain Willy's
Captain Willeys is situated at the south end of the lake on the dam wall. Left of the Lodge swim.
This swim fishes to open water, the pads, and the near margin with large overhanging trees. There are plenty of Bloodworm beds and hard feed spot also to fish too.
Depths range from 4ft to 10 ft
5. Tight Squeeze
Tight squeeze is situated on the corner of the south west side of the lake. This swim is a double swim for two anglers.
The right side of the double swim fishes to the near margin, the dame wall with large overhanging trees and open water.
The left side of the double swim fishes to the near margin, the island and open water.
There are plenty of bloodworm beds and hard spots to fish too.
Depth range from 3ft to 12 ft.
6. 61
61 is situated in the middle of the west side of the lake and is cut into the tree line.
This swim is a very large double swim for two anglers.
Most of the fish come from both sides of the swim from the far margin in the snags, which are between 90 to 95 yards. Fish also come from the bar which is in the middle of the swim which is about 65 yards, the Bloodworm beds and the near margin.
Depths range from 3ft to 7ft.
7. Banzais
Banzais is situated on the west side of the lake between 61 and Orange Tree.
This swim has it all, Snags on the far margin, the old river bed, near margin and Bloodworm beds.
If you like big common's this swim has done more 40+ commons than any other swim on the lake.
Depths range from 3ft to 6ftt.
8. Orange Tree
Orange Tree is situated on the west side of the lake. This swim is cut deep into the tree line.
This swim does not get fished very much as the next swim up is middle 2 and most anglers want to fish together. Orange Tree is a great swim and is situated at the narrowest part of the lake and don't forget all the fish have to swim past you!
You have the far margin, the Old River bed, old oak tree stumps cut level to the lake bed, Bloodworm beds and don't forget the near margin.
Depth ranges from 3ft to 6ft.
9. Middle Two
Middle Two is situated on the west side of the lake and is on the edge of the west and east arms of the lake. There is a lot of water to cover with this swim and this swim is the biggest double swim on the lake.
On the right side of this double swim you have the near margin, the old river bed, snags and the reeds on the far margin to fish too.
The left side of the swim you have the Sunken island, deep holes, Bloodworm beds and Snags on the far margin.
Depths range from 2ft 6" to 6ft.
10. RB's
RB's is situated on the west arm of the lake and is a double swim.
The fishing is short range on the left side of this double swim you have where the river bed enters the lake, snags on the far margin, bloodworm beds overhanging trees.
On the right side of this double swim, you have the back of the island the old river bed, the far margin, bloodworm beds and hard feed spots.
There is also some good stalking to be had, in the Old Nursery!

11. Nursery
The nursery is a great swim for close water fishing.
Depths range from 2ft 6" to 4ft.
